Wellness Extravaganza features sugar addition expert

Nationally known speaker, Kathleen DesMaisons, Ph.D. will be speaking at the sixth annual St. Francis Senior Ministries Wellness Extravaganza at noon Wednesday, Oct. 10. DesMaisons is the author of “Potatoes not Prozac: Solutions for Sugar Sensitivity.” A recent Ask Annie article ran in newspapers nationally regarding sugar sensitivity. The article referenced DesMaisons who had over 8,000 visits on her website in one day after that article ran. DesMaisons, Ph.D., is the world’s leading expert on sugar addiction.
The Wellness Extravaganza will be held from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Elizabeth Schaefer Apartments Auditorium, 190 St. Francis Ave., in Tiffin. Many local organizations will be represented and numerous testings and screenings will be offered. DesMaisons will be speaking at noon followed by a free lunch.
