Ashland – Hospice of North Central Ohio is pleased to announce three additions to the organization.

“We are excited to add Chris, Candace and Richelle to Hospice of North Central Ohio. They bring great experience and expertise to our organization and will help us to better serve our clients and markets while allowing us to continue to support our Mission; To provide peace of mind and comfort through compassionate care,” said Executive Director William Kahl.

CHRIS MURPHY

Clinical Resource Educator – Chris Murphy was born in Ashland Ohio; but has been away from Ohio for 32 years. She lived in West Virginia and received her Associate degree in Nursing. Chris then moved to Florida for the last 9 years working with VITAS Healthcare (Hospice) for seven of those years. Chris has held many roles as an admission nurse, admission manager, Patient Care Administrator and Paw Pal Volunteer with her dog Bentley. She is excited to bring her knowledge of Hospice to HNCO, and to be back in Ohio close to her family and old friends.

CANDACE SINGH

Director of Human Resources – Candace Singh has a strong background in human resources. She also has a master of arts and bachelor of science in social work, as well as being a Licensed Social Worker in Ohio. In addition to her HR experience, she also has direct hospice liaison experience.

RICHELLE WORKMAN

QAPI Manager – Richelle Workman has been married for 26 years. She is the mother of three amazing daughters, grandma to one adorable grandson. She obtained her Licensed Practical Nurse 1990 at North Central State College, Registered Nurse 1995 at NCSC, and Bachelor of Science in Nursing 2005 at Ashland University. Richelle has a broad range of experience from Nursing Homes, ICU and Step-Down Units, and in 2006 she transitioned to Home Health. Richelle has been a Field Nurse, Case Manager, Coding Specialist, OASIS Review, Utilization Manager.

Hospice of North Central Ohio has served thousands of families with compassionate end-of-life and Palliative care, bereavement programs and services since 1988. Headquartered at 1021 Dauch Drive in Ashland, Hospice of North Central Ohio serves more than 200 patients daily in Ashland, Crawford, Huron, Knox, Morrow and Richland counties who are living with chronic and terminal illnesses. Additionally, free continuous bereavement services are provided for hundreds of families of hospice patients and to anyone in the community experiencing grief.
