Seminars set to start a small business

Exploring the possibilities of starting, buying or expanding a business? Discover what it takes by charting your course with Small Business Basics Ohio Small Business Development Center at Terra State Community College.

Small Business Basics is a free, three-hour seminar that will answer your questions about starting, buying, or expanding a small business. This seminar will take the confusion out of your efforts and help you to avoid costly mistakes and unnecessary steps. Learn the Basics of: name registration, licensing, taxes, advisors, business entities, employees, insurance, financing, business planning and more.

Seminars are held at Terra State Community College, 2830 Napoleon Road, Fremont. Doepker Leadership & Entrepreneurial Center, Building B, Room 103. Upcoming seminars are planned:

  • Wed., Mar 2, 8:30 to 11:30 a.m.
  • Wed., Mar 16, 4:30 to 7:30 p.m.
  • Wed., Apr 6, 8:30 to 11:30 a.m.

  • Wed., May 4, 8:30 to 11:30 a.m.
