Ribbon cut for new Great Lakes Community Action Partnership

FREMONT – The Ambassadors of the Chamber of Commerce of Sandusky County held a Ribbon Cutting Nov. 2 to help celebrate the grand opening of the new location for the Great Lakes Community Action Partnership (formerly WSOS Community Action Commission), located at 127 S. Front St. in Fremont.

Great Lakes Community Action Partnership is a private, nonprofit community action agency based in Northwest Ohio. Since its founding in 1965, programs have greatly expanded in terms of both the number of services offered, as well as geographic reach. GLCAP provides services such as Head Start and Early Head Start preschool, home repair and rehabilitation, Meals on Wheels and senior services, community development, homeless assistance and other programs that help individuals, families and communities thrive.
