Matthew Kosior named president of American Colors Inc.

SANDUSKY – Matthew A. Kosior was recently named to succeed James Oram Wible as president of American Colors Inc. Wible, who is a co-founder of the company, held this position for nearly 43 years and retains the title of chairman of the board.

American Colors is a manufacturer of high quality liquid pigment dispersions and intermediates for the plastics, coatings, adhesive and sealants and agriculture markets.

Kosior, a graduate of Case Western University with a bachelor of science in chemistry and an MBA, joined American Colors in 1989 as a lab chemist. Over the years, he advanced to lab manager, vice president of technical operations and executive vice president and chief operating officer. Kosior has assisted in the expansion of operations in the U.S. with two new facilities, Gallatin, Tenn., and Seguin, Texas, as well as a plant in Shanghai China.

“Matt has showed a prowess in enhancing the reputation and operations of American Colors,” said Wible. “The board of directors has the utmost confidence in his ability to lead American Colors in producing increased value for our customers and the industries we serve.”
