Photomaker Digital Conversions will preserve your family history

Submitted by PC AREA CHAMBER OF COMMERCE

The Port Clinton Area Chamber of Commerce and Main Street Port Clinton held a ribbon cutting ceremony to celebrate Photomaker Studios at 502 Jefferson St., Port Clinton.

Bill and Mary Gordon have been the owners and operators of Photomaker Studios, a wedding and portrait business in Port Clinton, for 35 years. They have recently retired from that business but want to continue to be of service to the community. That is why they have started Photomaker Digital Conversions.

“We feel that preserving your cherished memories for future generations is a truly worthwhile endeavor. Doing so with great care and skill at a reasonable price is our goal,” said Mary.

Photomaker Digital Conversions can convert all your old prints, slides, movies and video tapes to a digital format that can be easily viewed on a T.V., a computer or a smart phone. At the same time, converting to digital copies preserves your precious family history from loss, damage and deterioration.

“We all have our memories of the ‘good old days’ but our memories are incomplete and some details are forgotten completely,” said Bill. “But when we see our old pictures, movies and videos, all our past experiences, adventures and ‘good times’ come to life. The trouble is, old analog media has a very limited life span and once it is gone … it’s gone forever.”

That is why Bill and Mary believe so strongly in their business motto: Your old photos are deteriorating. Your memories are fading away. Your pictures are your life. We want to be your Digital Life-Savers.
