MONROEVILLE – Janotta & Herner has recently added Paul J. Roeder to their company as chief executive officer. He will also be CEO to sister companies Firelands Fabrication in New London and 620 Construction in Medina.
“The board is excited to have Paul join the Janotta & Herner family, said Board Member Ken Schafer. “His proven leadership skills and past experience in the construction industry as a CFO and CEO will promote continued growth of Janotta & Herner and its employees. Paul’s leadership style which demands the highest standards and values supports our ESOP family’s lifestyle which makes a perfect fit to continue the company’s goals.”
Roeder has decades of executive management experience in the construction industry. He was chief financial officer for a construction materials company in Columbus and then became general manager of the company’s seven ready mix plants. In 2013, Roeder came back to the area as president of Dauch Concrete and spent six years in that capacity.
Roeder grew up in Monroeville and currently lives in Norwalk with Denise, his wife of 42 years. When he is not working, he has one hobby – basketball. He has been the boys head basketball coach for Monroeville High School for the past two years.
“The standards of excellence and success Janotta & Herner has achieved throughout its 58-year history is remarkable, and the fact we are 100 percent employee-owned, by our 175 employees, makes Janotta & Herner a very special company, said Roeder. “The company culture is based on good Midwest values of honesty, integrity, work ethic and quality. I am honored to have the opportunity to be part of such a great team.”
