TIFFIN – Mercy Health – Willard Hospital recognized Paul Hill with the Volunteer of the Quarter Award for the third quarter of 2018. The Volunteer Excellence Award is presented each quarter and then annually to a volunteer who is nominated by either a fellow volunteer or Mercy Health – Willard Hospital employee. The award was created to recognize Mercy volunteers who goes above and beyond the requirements of their assignment and reflect the mission and core values of Mercy Health.

Hill’s nomination read: “Paul is invaluable to our department. Paul comes to the department every Friday with a willingness to help and do whatever is on his list with excitement to help. We count on Paul to take care of tasks that make our jobs easier. Paul is appreciated by every member of our team. Thank you, Paul, for all that you do for our patients, our staff and our hospital.”

Approximately 60 volunteers help fulfill Mercy’s mission of caring for the sick and injured through their generous giving of time and talent. For information about volunteer opportunities, contact Laurie Kaple at 419-964-5102.
