Manufacturing jobs on display at Future Makers event

The fourth annual Future Makers Manufacturing & Career Showcase Event will take place at EHOVE Career Center on Oct. 8-9. Over 1,500 freshmen students from Huron and Erie Counties will experience hands-on, interactive stations developed by 30 local businesses. The Future Makers event provides the opportunity for students to experience today’s manufacturing environment and the skill sets and career opportunities available in our local region.
From 5 to 7 p.m. Oct. 8, guests of all ages are invited to experience the Future Makers event. Students, teachers, community leaders and businesses are encouraged to attend the evening event. Please RSVP at http:/bit.ly/2019FutureMakers.
Future Makers is a collaboration between the Huron County Development Council, EHOVE Career Center, the Erie County Economic Development Corporation and participating businesses.
