Mercy Health

Kathi Miller was recognized with the Volunteer of the Quarter Award at Mercy Health Willard Hospital. Approximately 60 volunteers help fulfill Mercy’s mission of caring for the sick and injured through their generous giving of time and talent.

The Volunteer Excellence Award is presented each quarter and then annually to a volunteer who is nominated by either a fellow volunteer or Mercy Willard employee. The award was created to recognize a Mercy volunteer who goes above and beyond the requirements of their assignment and reflects the Mission and Core Values of Mercy.

Miller LPN, earned the 2018 second quarter award. Her nomination read: Kathi is a huge asset to our department. She is the face of our Medication Management Clinic and her dedication and commitment allows our Pharmacists to work efficiently to help as many patients as possible. Kathi’s warm smile and kindness greet our patients weekly, making them feel more at ease when coming to our hospital. She knows our patients by name and calls them to reschedule if necessary. Her kindness and encouragement is also extended to our staff. Thank you Kathi for all that you do for our patients, our staff and our hospital.
