PORT CLINTON AREA CHAMBER OF COMMERCE

7 – Business After Hours: Monsoon Lagoon, 5 to 7 p.m., 1530 S. Danbury Road, Port Clinton. ​Every first Thursday of each month, the Port Clinton Area Chamber of Commerce holds a Business After Hours at a different Chamber member location. Chamber members are encouraged to pass out their business cards and promote their business. Come learn about the host business. On average 60 Chamber members attend each month.

JULY 7 – Sunset Cruise, 7 to 9 p.m., Jet Express, 3 Monroe St., Port Clinton. A public celebration on the Lake that we love is held on the second Thursday of July on the Jet Express. The sightseeing cruise will depart Port Clinton at 7:30 p.m. and cruise past the Catawba shoreline, Marblehead and the historic lighthouse then continue on past the islands of Kelleys, Rattlesnake, Sugar, Green and the Bass Islands before enjoying the sunset on the way back into Port Clinton. We will be traveling at high speed to reach the different points of interest and then slow down to enjoy the sights. Signature hors d’oeuvres and a cash bar with top-shelf cocktails and wine will be featured. The cost is $40 per person or $70 per couple. This truly unique cruise is sponsored by the Jet Express and benefiting the Port Clinton Area Chamber of Commerce. Kelleys Island Chamber of Commerce

30-July 1 – Mad River Bike Tour, 10 a.m., Mad River Harley Davidson, 5316 Milan Road, Sandusky. Enjoy a 25 minute ferry ride to Kelleys Island with your motorcycle. Tour the island and get stamped at each stop for a chance to win a Kelleys Island Vacation Package. All proceeds benefit the Kelleys Island Chamber of Commerce. Registration is Saturday, June 30, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Mad River Harley Davidson before heading to the Kelleys Island Ferry Boat Line, 510 W. Main St., Marblehead. Cost is $10 per person for the tour, $20 per bike for the round trip ferry. Deadline for completed score cards to be returned to Mad River Harley-Davidson 3 p.m. Sunday, July 1.

A special edition Californian Solé bicycle will be raffled at the upcoming Luau-themed Business After Hours. The City Cruiser style bike has been customized by Goose Island Brewery to feature their logo and it even incorporates a map of Chicago, their brewing headquarters.

We are hosting a Hawaiian Luau in the back parking lot of the chamber office. Come in tropical attire! There will be food, spirits, music and fun! There will be a 50/50 Raffle and a Bike Raffle. Both are 6 tickets for $5.
