Jeff Geary joins BRASS board

BELLEVUE – The Bellevue Recovery And Support Services board of directors has added Jeff Geary of Bellevue as its newest board member and treasurer. Geary joins the BRASS board with a long history of serving on nonprofit boards in the Sandusky County area. He is a commercial loan officer with First National Bank of Bellevue.

“I’m so excited that Jeff has joined our BRASS board,” says Phillip Johnson, director of operations for BRASS. “Jeff’s background in commercial finance and work on non-profit boards will be a huge asset to our organization and I look forward to working with him to grow our fiscal sustainability.”

Other members of the BRASS Board of Directors who will continue to serve the community include president Kay E. Reiter – Sandusky County Commissioner; vice president Tim Buit – president and CEO of The Bellevue Hospital; secretary Lavin Schwan – executive assistant with The Bellevue Hospital; and directors Brian Foos – funeral director/embalmer of Foos & Foos Funeral Services; JB Hecock – Pastor of Bellevue Alliance Church; Tom Schwan – owner/operator of Bone Boys BBQ & Catering and Angel Young – district social worker for Bellevue City Schools.

Bellevue Recovery and Support Services was created as a local resource for residents of the Greater Bellevue area seeking information and resources about substance use treatment and recovery services. The services provided by BRASS are free and funding for BRASS is paid in part by United Way of Sandusky County, Sandusky County Communities Foundation and from the Mental Health and recovery Services Board of Seneca, Sandusky and Wyandot Counties.
