Dr. Jovana Spreitzer has joined Fisher-Titus Women’s Health as an obstetrician/gynecologist, according to Dr. Brent Burkey, president & CEO of Fisher-Titus. She is board certified by the American Osteopathic Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and will be seeing patients in Norwalk, Milan and Wakeman.

“We are pleased to welcome Dr. Jovana Spreitzer to our Women’s Health team,” said Burkey. “The addition of Dr. Spreitzer means area women will have greater access to care, especially in Wakeman where we will be serving women’s health patients in their own community for the first time.”

Spreitzer has experience as an attending physician in obstetrics and gynecology at McLaren Lapeer Hospital in Lapeer, Mich., Women’s Excellence in Lake Orion, Mich., and Henry Ford Wyandotte Hospital in Wyandotte, Mich.

“I have always been passionate about women’s health,” said Spreitzer. “Since medical school, I knew that women’s health was the right fit for me as long shifts during my OB/GYN rotation would go by quickly. Since then, I have felt like I am truly making a difference by practicing in women’s health.”

Spreitzer is trained and certified in Da Vinci robotic surgery. She also has extensive training in laparoscopic techniques in gynecology.

A graduate of Michigan State University where she earned her Doctor of Medicine, Spreitzer completed a residency in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at New York University Lutheran Medical Center in Brooklyn, N.Y., where she was Chief Resident for a year. She has been a practicing obstetrician/gynecologist since 2009.

Spreitzer is now accepting new patients. To schedule an appointment, call 419-660-2980.
