Fisher-Titus welcomes general surgeon
By ALLYSON LANE, Fisher-Titus
General surgeon John E. Mourany MD is now seeing patients at Fisher-Titus General Surgery in Norwalk.
“We are pleased to welcome Dr. Mourany to Fisher-Titus,” said Dr. Brent Burkey, president & CEO of Fisher-Titus. “He will be a great addition to our experienced General Surgery team that has been caring for the community for many years.”
A graduate of University of Toledo College of Medicine where he earned his Doctor of Medicine, Mourany completed his General Surgery Residency at West Virginia University in 2020.
When looking for a practice to join, the Cleveland native was specifically seeking a community hospital setting. Fisher-Titus and the General Surgery practice had the atmosphere he was looking for to give him the ability to build close relationships with his patients, fellow physicians and other caregivers.
Mourany is a member of the American College of Surgeons, the American Medical Association and the Society for American Gastrointestinal and Endoscopic Surgeons. In his free time, he enjoys playing piano, lifting weights and reading.
Mourany is joining the General Surgery team that includes Jayne Minier, Eric Schmidt, Michael, Nill, and Farid Said. For information, visit fishertitus.org/general-surgery-procedures.
