Dr. Elizabeth Olds has joined Fisher-Titus New Beginnings Pediatrics as a Pediatrician, according to Dr. Brent Burkey, President & CEO of Fisher-Titus.
“We are pleased to welcome Dr. Elizabeth Olds to Fisher-Titus,” said Burkey. “We are always happy when we can bring a physician with local ties back home. Being from Sandusky, Dr. Olds knows the area well, and we are excited to have her join us serving our youngest residents right here in our community.”
Olds is passionate about providing preventative care to protect children from avoidable illness and injury, care for children with mental health and behavioral issues, and forming longstanding relationships with her patients throughout their childhood and teenage years.
A graduate of The Ohio State University where she earned her Bachelor of Science in biology, Olds completed her Doctor of Medicine at the University of Toledo College of Medicine and Life Sciences. Following her education, Olds completed a Pediatrics Residency at the University of Colorado in Denver in 2019. During her Residency, she participated in a research project aimed at establishing and validating a screening tool to identify children and adolescents who may be victims of Human Trafficking.
Olds is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics. She has her National Child Passenger Safety Certification, is Neonatal Resuscitation Program certified, and is Pediatric Advanced Life Support certified.
Olds joins the Fisher-Titus Pediatric Center of Excellence housed at Medical Park 2 on the Fisher-Titus Campus that includes Fisher-Titus New Beginnings Pediatrics and medical offices for pediatric specialists from Akron Children’s Hospital. The Center is designed to streamline care and provide area families with a one-stop center for wellness checkups, common colds, and unexpected bumps and bruises as well as visits with advanced specialists, close to home. In addition to the services provided at the Pediatric Center of Excellence, Fisher-Titus offers pediatric therapy programs through
