BELLEVUE – President and CEO of First National Bank Dean Miller has announced plans to expand into Perkins Township with the purchase of a branch office located at 4000 Milan Road in Sandusky. The bank anticipates being open for business in August of 2020 at that location.

An office in Perkins Township will expand the bank’s footprint in the Erie County market which has been a priority of the strategic plan for several years. This latest addition along the State Route 250 corridor will further provide customers greater accessibility to banking services that meet their financial needs.

“We have been searching for an office in this vicinity for several years and this location meets all our needs. We have been serving the Sandusky community for over 20 years with our office on Venice Road. The Sandusky city and Perkins Township market fits our banking model while this new office will allow us to better serve clients on the eastern end of the city and county. Unlike most large banks, we tend to gather deposits and lend in the same markets we serve instead of taking those local deposits and funding loans in the large metropolitan areas.  This addition will allow us to be much more convenient to clients that appreciate the community bank level of service.”

First National Bank currently has seven convenient offices in Bellevue, Catawba, Clyde, Fremont, Port Clinton, Put-In-Bay, and Sandusky, that are available to serve you along with several ATMs located throughout the area.
