Farmer Jones Farm Market now open
By ERICA SANICKY, The Chef’s Garden
HURON – Starting on July 1, the day’s farm-fresh harvest from The Chef’s Garden will be for sale at the Farmer Jones Farm Market. Located at the corner of Scheid and Huron-Avery, the market will be open 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday.
The selection will include seasonal corn, peppers, eggplant and tomatoes. Guests can ship on site or purchase a box of vegetables online, pick it up at the market and receive a free product of the day. Cash and credit are accepted.
“In the future you can expect to see cooking demonstrations as well as additional market items,” said Lee Jones. “We’re really looking forward to this opportunity to provide this seasonal produce directly to you. Everything we grow is regeneratively farmed with love and we’re grateful for the chance to serve as your personal farmer.”
Employees will follow CDC guidelines including use of masks and CDC cleaning and sanitizing procedures. Customers are asked to wear a mask as well.
