The Erie County Chamber of Commerce presents seminars every fall geared toward topics members have expressed interest in. Below is a description of the seminars scheduled for Fall 2018.

  • Lunch & Learn: The Impact of Tourism, 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 12, Sandusky Yacht Club. Featured Speaker Melinda Huntley, executive director of the Ohio Travel Association. We’ll take an up-close-and-personal look at the flow of the traveler dollar in our communities, and how a local economy that invests in travel and tourism as part of its economic development strategy can reap rewards.
  • Lunch & Learn: Your Brain on Leadership, 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Monday, Oct. 15, Castaway Bay. Featured speaker is Dr. Kitty Brandal, President of Corporate Compass Training. Many people in management positions think they manage people. We can’t manage people. You manage emotions … yours and other people’s.
  • Lunch & Learn: Understanding Finances – Part One, 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Monday, Nov. 19, Castaway Bay. Featured speaker is Ted Janusz with Janus Presentations. Learn the basics of understanding of the financial principles you need to do your job right, without any CPA training.
