Downtown business, building owners meet up

Main Street Port Clinton’s Downtown Business & Building owners Roundtable was held Nov. 14.

PORT CLINTON – Downtown business and building owners met on Nov. 14 at the Knights of Columbus for Main Street Port Clinton’s Roundtable. Updates were given by Mayor Mike Snider, City Safety Service Director Olen Martin; and Commissioner Mark Coppeler.

Applications for Main Street’s Downtown Improvement Grant were handed out. These grants are made possible because of the success of Main Street’s fundraisers, specifically the Walleye Festival. Since 2013, $110,000 has been awarded to downtown property owners and business owners.

Main Street Port Clinton is currently looking for organizations and individuals to adopt a planter, bench or trash can help keep downtown looking great. Contact Main Street to learn more.
