Compass Behavioral Health now open

On Wednesday, Sept. 2, the Chamber of Commerce of Sandusky County celebrated the grand opening of one of their newest members, Compass Behavioral Health, LLC, with a ribbon cutting ceremony.
Compass Behavioral Health is located at 915 Croghan St. in Fremont and is a private mental health agency that offers counseling and therapy services to the diverse population of Northwest Ohio. The mental health agency specializes in individual counseling, couple’s and family counseling, play/music therapy and telehealth.
Compass Behavioral Health is family owned and operated by Russell R. Exlos-Raber and his mother, Karen L. Raber. Russell has been a practicing clinician for 10 years and specializes predominantly in child, adolescent and teen counseling as well as LGBTQIA+ issues. Karen has been a practicing clinician for over 20 years and specializes in adult and couples counseling.

At Wednesday’s ribbon cutting ceremony the Chamber was joined by two Ambassadors, Kim Walter-Eaton and Sarah Birkholz; Jamie Hafford, President of Fremont City Council; and Scott Miller, Sandusky County Commissioner. Due to COVID 19 safety regulations, the Chamber has been limiting all in-person events to less than 10 people and all attendees wore facial coverings while celebrating the grand opening.
