Chamber celebrates reopening of Fremont theater

On Thursday, Sept. 3, the Chamber of Commerce of Sandusky County celebrated the reopening of Paramount Cinema, Great Eastern Theatres, with a ribbon cutting ceremony.
Paramount Cinema is located at 301 S Front St. in Fremont and is a first-run movie theater with four screens featuring Digital Cinema projection. The Great Eastern Theatre Company was established in 1981 in Toledo and it continues to be an independent movie exhibitor operating indoor and outdoor theatres in Northwest Ohio.

Along with matinee and evening movie showings, Paramount cinema also has rental options including their popular “Party Package.” For $175 you receive exclusive use of an auditorium with a banquet table and a private screening of a current movie or you can bring your own DVD.
