27 – Woodville/Gibsonburg Town Hall, 2 to 4 p.m., Village of Woodville Office, 530 Lime St., Woodville. The Villages of Gibsonburg and Woodville have come together to host a Town Hall. This meeting with elected officials will be business-centric. Each elected official will be given time to present updates from their respective offices. A brief Q&A session will follow. Registration is required for this event and free for Sandusky County business owners. Invited elected officials include Mayors of Woodville and Gibsonburg, Village Councils of Woodville and Gibsonburg, Sandusky County Commissioners, Rep. Gary Click, Sen. Bill Reineke and LuAnn Cooke, Office of Lt. Governor Husted.

23 – Sandusky County Chamber Business Expo and Vendor Fair – Copper Mare Ranch will be hosting the first-ever event during the Broken Horn Rodeo. Chamber members receive a discount on registration. Open to businesses and vendors in Sandusky County and the surrounding areas. Registration deadline is Tuesday, May 31. Each vendor/business will receive two wristbands to the Broken Horn Rodeo. 3-4 – Village-Wide Garage Sales, A complete list of sales will be available at the Oak Harbor Chamber of Commerce and the Oak Harbor Public Library, and also on oakharborohio.net starting Wednesday June 1. If you would like to place your sale on the list, there is a $3.00 minimum donation and we must receive your information by May 30.

3 – Oak Harbor Independence Day Celebration along the Portage River, in downtown Oak Harbor. Festivities begin at 5 p,m. There will be food vendors, entertainment, giant inflatables, the Royal Duck Race, 50/50 drawings, glow necklaces and a beer garden. The night would not be complete without the sky being illuminated with the most spectacular fireworks display around. Admission and parking are free. The chamber is also looking for volunteers to help clean up on July 4 from 7:30 to 9:30 a.m. If you can help, come to the riverfront on Mill Street Wednesday morning. Each ride ticket is $50 and good for the entire Walleye Festival weekend. The Walleye Festival will run from Thursday, May 26, to Monday, May 30. Quantities are limited so please buy them early.
