The Seneca Regional Chamber of Commerce will host a free seminar on intellectual property protection, covering: inventions, patents, trademarks and copyrights. The speaker for Patently Good Ideas: Intellectual Property Law for Entrepreneurs and Business is Jacob M. Ward, registered patent attorney, Ward Law Office in Tiffin. All businesses have intellectual property in one form or another. Entrepreneurs and business leaders interested in learning more about this important topic are encouraged to attend. This seminar is free and open to the public.

NOVEMBER 17 – Tiffin’s Fall Open House Festival, a one-day festival that will encompass the Tiffin area. The Chamber encourages all businesses to be a part of this event in some way.

Held by the Oak Harbor Development Group, the market offers a variety of goods including produce, poultry products, herbs, fresh baked goods, freshly cut flowers, plants, cider, handmade crafts, antiques, art, music, jewelry, garden decor and gourmet food.
29 – Cruisin’ To The Future Car Show & Community Day, 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Davis-Besse Nuclear Power Station, 5501 N. Ohio 2, Oak Harbor, rain date is Sept. 30. All proceeds will support Pathway Inclusions. Registration is $10, spectators are free. Dash plaques will be awarded for the first 250 registrants (sign up between 8:30 to 11:30 a.m.). Features include DJ Cruisin Zeake, hourly door prizes, trophies, vendors, 50/50 raffle, over $3,000 in raffle prizes, food trucks, cornhole, tour the Control Room Simulator, free petting zoo and carnival games.
