OCTOBER
1-11 – Virtual Apple Run, run or walk the 5K or kid’s 1-mile anytime and submit results online. Participants will receive a T-shirt and medal.
5-Nov. 1 – Shop Local Weekly Drawings, shop at three member businesses and submit your receipts by Facebook Messenger, email or by dropping off in the chamber lockbox with name and phone number. Each week four winners will be drawn for $50 chamber gift certificates. Multiple entries allowed but must be from different businesses.
16-18 – Chamber Sponsor Scavenger Hunt, complete the hunt by taking selfies at each location and upload to the Facebook event page. Entries will be entered to win.
19-30 – Rock Hunting, find painted rocks around town and turn it into the chamber office for a gift.

14 – Marblehead Peninsula Chamber of Commerce and Danbury PTCO have joined forces for a first-ever Virtual Reverse Raffle and Drive-Though Dinner event. The grand prize is $10,000 and tickets are $125. Additional dinners are available for $25. Ticket price includes one dinner and dessert catered by 1812 Food and Spirits with drive-through service from 5 to 6:30 p.m. at Danbury Schools. The virtual raffle begins at 7 p.m. via live feed. Additional activities include 50-50 raffles, side boards, wine and dine raffles and more. Emcees for the night are Tim Heffernan, Dan Humphrey and John Starcher. 23 – Chamber golf outing at Eagle Creek Golf Course. Like most everything else, things will be a little different this year – instead of a traditional shotgun start, there will be tee times beginning at 9:03 a.m. Winners will be annouced via email and social media.

22 – Safety Council, noon. The meeting will feature Dave Tippett with On-Site Learning & Consultation. Safety rules by themselves don’t keep people safe.
