27 – Great Outdoors Raffle, 5 to 9 p.m., Pickworth Building at the Huron County Fairgrounds, register online at the chamber website. It’s time again for our annual Great Outdoors Raffle. The GOR boasts a unique spin on the traditional gun raffle with loads of side raffles and prizes that are guaranteed to get you off the couch and into the great outdoors. The raffles will promptly start at 5 p.m. and will go until the last ticket is drawn. Tickets are $20 and include entry into the event and dinner. Register online at the chamber website.

19-21 – Put-in-Bay Jeep Invasion: The 4th annual PIB Jeep invasion welcomes all Jeeps to a weekend of fun on Lake Erie. All jeeps are welcome however due to limited space at some of the Island venues the event is accepting registration for only 200 Jeeps.

A meet & greet will be held at South Bass Island State Park shelter house on Friday, July 19th. A Show and Shine will be held at Heineman’s Winery on Saturday, July 20th. Antique Jeeps are invited to join in on the Antique Car Parade on Sunday! Registration and times to follow.

26-28 – Lake Erie Offshore Performance Association: Lake Erie Offshore Performance Association will be hosting its signature event, Thunderfest, the weekend of July 26th at Put-in-Bay, Ohio. Check out the event website http://thunderfest.us for registration.
