Bryce Riggs picked to lead Seneca Chamber

TIFFIN – The Seneca Regional Chamber of Commerce and Visitors Services and Destination Seneca County have appointed Bryce Riggs as the next executive director.

Chamber Board Chair and Provost of Tiffin University Peter Holbrook made the official announcement.

“Bryce received unanimous support from the Search Taskforce, Executive Committee, key Destination Seneca County stakeholders and our member trustees,” said Holbrook. “Bryce is perfectly positioned to take the Seneca Regional Chamber of Commerce and Visitor Services and Destination Seneca County to the next level; we are very excited about his appointment.”

Riggs said he is looking forward to serving the community that has provided him many years of support.

“I have considered this position as a dream opportunity for a number of years. A unanimous vote from the stakeholders in the process also means a lot to me,” said Riggs. “The City of Tiffin and Seneca County have provided me so much throughout my life and I can’t wait to contribute to our community and its continued growth.”

Riggs has spent the last two years as the associate director of development at Tiffin University engaging alumni and friends across the country to assist the university in impacting the lives of current and future Dragons. Prior to his role at Tiffin University, Riggs spent nearly four years at the Tiffin-Seneca Economic Partnership working with business leaders and elected officials to facilitate economic development projects in the local community.

Riggs is a 2012 graduate of Tiffin Columbian High School, obtained a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Heidelberg University in 2016, and is slated to obtain his master of business administration from Tiffin University this fall.
