Amy Rockwell promoted to assistant director at Firelands School of Nursing

SANDUSKY – The Firelands Regional Medical Center School of Nursing has promoted Amy Rockwell, MSN, RN, to the position of assistant director. In her new position, Rockwell assists the director in carrying out the duties and responsibilities for the operation of the School of Nursing, and serves as the chair of the curriculum committee.
Rockwell also provides leadership in continuous quality improvement, curriculum design and evaluation of program outcomes reflective of evidence-based practice, the school philosophy, and the medical center mission and vision. Rockwell has been a faculty member at the school since 2011. She graduated from the Providence Hospital School of Nursing in 1986 with her nursing diploma. In fall 2018, Rockwell will pursue her DNP from the Ohio State University College of Nursing.
Rockwell resides in Perkins Township with her husband, Lloyd, and has three adult children and two grandchildren.
