The 2018-2019 school year is off to a great start at Sandusky Central Catholic School. It is a time to celebrate the “why we do what we do” at our school as we welcome more than 600 students back to the classroom. The dedication of our staff is a true testimony of a commitment to Catholic Education and our serving students, families and community.
Additionally, this year marks the 60th year of dedicated service by school leader Mr. Chuck Lococo. He has served as a coach and athletic director at both Sandusky Central Catholic School and St. Mary Central Catholic High School (SMCC).
“Chuck has been a wonderful partner for these 60 years,” said Geoff Palmer, SCCS President. “He loves our student-athletes and we are forever grateful for his service to our school and families.”
Lococo is a proud graduate of SMCC and a member of the Class of 1953. After spending time in the military, he returned home in 1958 and began coaching at SMCC. Soon after, Lococo became an athletic director, donating his time for over 48 years. It is a blessing to have Chuck, his wife Judy and the Lococo family on our team! Go Panthers!
